Best straight ahead, accessible, non-cookie cutter, guitar rock song I've heard in a while. The influences are there (Pixies, QOTSA, stoner/desert rock in general, maybe Torche?), but the music isn't limited by them. The sound is just Slomosa. Love the vocals, love the bass! Rare to hear a solo that so viscerally detonates a song's sense of headlong drive. Confess I had to stop and rewind that section a couple times before playing through the end. Instant favorite, looking forward to whatever comes next.
