you just bend the column AB horizontaly and assume that it is a beam. now Reaction at A is downwards. so the sf will be negative.

while calculating Hc, moment 8&4 is ACW but you have taken moment as CW . why?????

Sir taken ACW and minus sign, but due to typing error its written as positive. 4Hc -8-4 = 0 Hc = (8+4)/4 Hc = 3 Kn

The moment at the middle of the top beam, would that not be 10? So 18 (total moment) -8 (at ends). (Thanks for the video)
