I don’t know if this will make you feel better but I had to drive 6 hours one way to get there. It took even longer to come back home with increased traffic. But I have to say it was well worth it. Definitely an epic place

Are portal axles allowed in class 1 or not!?

Oswalds Reef portal axles are legal in all classes including class 1.

That first truck isnt class 1 with those wheels sticking out is it?

It appears wheels are sticking out far but if you look carefully from the top angle, it has about 50% coverage. I think the body sitting high off of chassis makes it look more out of spec. More or less, local events tend to let it slide if it’s close enough ( it may not pass at the nationals )

Looks like the rules are relaxed. The red truck right after it definitely did not half 50% coverage.
