I'm sure it's a great camera, but i don't see myself using it. It seems bulky, and something, that needs expensive accessories, and storge solutions to work as intended. I think Fujis are underrated too. You made me buy an X-S10 with your review, and i love it. Of course it's not cinema grade, but the F-log is enough for me for everything, even a carefull white balance fix, or a pretty hard colorgrade can be done with that, and if you want, you can record 10-bit with an Atomos. And you get the Fuji stuff, with all the benefits, and some of the disadvantages. You can get that in a very good condition under 1000€, and i think that is reasonable, great starting point, and as long as you don't want to record hi-res slo-mo, or above 6000 iso, I think it works for professional usage.
@DiodeFilms7 ай бұрын
Blackmagic always deliver on image. With the pocket range (and now the cinema camera), you've got two types of people who want to buy them. There are people who want them as a B-cam to their more expensive camera, and people who want them as A-cams at a lower budget level. The A-cam people want a cube they can rig more easily, and the B-cam people LOVE the pocket body precisely because they don't need to rig it for low profile situations where they can't use their A-cam. They can't give the A-cam people what they want without losing the B-cam people. With the gap between the performance of different pricepoints closing fast, and the more expensive 12k ursa not selling well, I think blackmagic would do well to overhaul their ursa line. Design a boxy body with L-mount, put the pocket and c6k internals inside them, and that is just the ursa line now. They only have to continue to design 2-3 sensor platforms because they're shared between the bodies, and both a-cam people and b-cam people can be happy.

Full Frame looks shit. Every DP in Hollywood knows that. Arri knows that, panavision knows that... but people think full frame is good. It steals you the look. S35 for ever. Get the 6k pro and be happy

I cried when I couldn’t get the 1000$ off offer on bmcc6kffolpf (just 1500$) in India and now I will have to settle with fujifilm xs20 which is no doubt a good choice but in future I’ll buy ursa12kffolpf or may be ursacine17k65mm.
