First thing I did today was queue up with monored in BO1 standard. Turn 3 killed a selesnya control. Then I turn 4 killed a orzhof bats lifegain after they healed for 6. Basically traumatized two guys who they were safe from mono red. I laughed manically and then stashed back that horrible deck and queued azorius control a couple times to cleanse my soul.

Sloth ive got to tell you, you've got to try Dimir Demons! I mean I've played against mono black, orzhov, rakdos and golgari demons but my Dimir Demons deck smokes them all!! I think it is by far the best Bloodletter/ annex/unstoppable Slasher deck. But it's got mockingbirds, silent Hall creepers and the blue enduring creature to draw even more cards! So you can copy the Bloodletter and the unstoppable Slasher with the hall creeper and the mockingbird to do tons of damage or get the combo across. Nothing's better than a flying unstoppable Slasher. Or 3 or 4 blood letters! Not to mention a one mana 6/6 flying demon from the annex token. Then just a ton of removal and you have a bad mo fo of a deck! I made it from platinum all the way to top 900 mythic

That sounds amazing, wp man!:) I played some Dimir demons already (there was a Hidetsugu and Kairi video, not sure if you've seen that one) - and I can confirm deck is pretty fire :) Interesting build though, a lot of ways to copy those key creatures!

I've lost too many games in the past with archfield getting stalled out, but now that it has a bonus job with Annex I may give it another go.

To be honest, I think I've never lost to Archfiend's passive - when you play it, you need to be sure you can either close game, or force opponent to remove it :) Sometimes you need to delay it a bit

I also made a Bronco & demons deck today as I wanted to check if rooms work with Bronco. Funeral room does 11 damage (3/8) and if you ever cast the 8 mana side to bring everything back, your Fleshgorgers come back as big 7 drops. I also put in a couple of the 4 mana leeches as they can be 11/11, 7/7 or 8/8 for Annex (3/5) I went b/r rather than b/g for hasty Enduring and Rakdos.

Watching the excruciator player scoop was so frustrating. They probably turored the demon first, then removal, realized they were tapped out and you still had Cottage so their Jace was done and no longer had the combo next turn.

Depends on the deck. I really wanted the Hylda tap deck and tried to force it and was always pissed off. Instead went to a non jank deck and had a lot of fun.

It's the draw-algorithm that pisses me off. Either I get flooded or I'm mana screwed. There's only one game with balanced draws in 10 games I play. It's stupid and disgusting.

No idea man, 1 of our commenters cracked the code, he might tutor for wrong thing because he expected Jace to survive, which left him without combo. I think he completely messed it up tbh

Yeah, noticed it too, but green is actually very meaningful here :) Sometimes even 4x of correct card is worth a splash (you can see it in "boros" convoke, that literally splashes full blue colour.. for 4x sirens as epicure replacement - why not right 😂🤷‍♂️) PS. As bughouse26 mentioned, and cottages are actually insane part of the deck, without them we would lose a LOT of games. Honestly cottages alone are probably worth splash, as cost is so low :)

I hear feel that thought, cottages, sharks, and even the others but to a lesser extent come in clutch so many games. On the other hand, ime, the spires ALWAYS get killed before I can proc them haha.

I think it's solid deck now, I probably won't showcase it, as it is pretty simple aggro deck, but it's definitely strong atm :) Especially as you can use this 1 mana enchantment buffer that boros uses too

@@blobzombie even the non budget version would be like 3 rares outside the lands. If you don’t run analyze the pollen anyway. I think the duals are kind of important in this one because even though you’ve got like 10 ways to tutor a basic land but it gets awkward when you’re trying to make double plays. That’s been my experience with that. The otters have won me games but I’ve also run into straight hosers with GY hate due to the meta having a decent GY style deck presence.

Main problem with the game is everyone who is competitive plays the same thing. You know what to look for . This deck is great man , but it’s repetitive and honestly just wins . It’s not cool , it’s just a winning standard play as many copies as I can deck .
