Fun deck! Really enjoying the rotation-proof builds. I hit mythic for the first time ever after switching to control; you've made me a believer. Thank you! I also always like to go a little higher than 60 to make milling a bit tougher.

Yeah, I had suspicion something will go wrong there, but still decided to see what exactly :D It was kinda obvious, as thopter has no text and stats differ based on Intrude on the Mind's decision, so only way to work like this is by counters - will remember it forever (and hopefully there will be at least one viewer that will avoid doing this:D)

Sloth I know you focus on standard but just as a magic player I feel like you need to brew with some MH3 stuff. The set actually got me back into historic and timeless. I know you gotta do what’s best for the channel but I hope you get a chance to play with the new cards!

Playing the Surveil land on turn 1 often puts you in a bind whenever you find a Lockdown or similar card: will I actually need that card this game? I find that, whenever possible, it's best to save the Surveil lands until you know the matchup, and what your hand is lacking (unless you already know that you'll bin everything except for a land).

Failure is an interesting word choice. And "most players?" I believe MTGA currently has a larger playerbase overall, but thats also format dependent. I play Standard on Arena. And Pauper and Modern on MTGO

It is not. It takes too long to set up and there is no removal. Mono white and boros go too wide.

I think it doesn't work well, probably reason we see so little mono blue - against mono red, sometimes you can win (tolarian terrors are nice at blocking the horde, but slickshot is an issue) - but vs boros it seems a lost cause, unless you counter perfectly (you also HAVE to be on play, to have chance at countering demolition)

Yep, but I'm getting comments asking for rotation-proof builds for months already :D Biggest point is that most players don't want to make decks, where big part rotates in a moment - as then wildcards are wasted if you only play standard. So ye, a viable reason to focus on builds that only have future cards 🔥🦥

I actually started using it because of comments - as alternative to farsight ritual :) And because I love fact or fiction mechanic, I'm testing it a lot now 🔥🦥 My Favourite card draw by far - though objectively, not sure if it's better than farsight ritual
