Ljubljana is a lovely city to visit, I think the fact it's not a huge city makes it great to visit. Lake Bled is lovely too, it's the smaller of the 2 lakes in that area, Bohinj is the larger lake but lesser known.

Wow lake bled is a lot smaller than I thought it was, can’t believe it’s only 6km around and you can walk it so easily!

Yes I thought it was a bit bigger around too. I honestly had no idea precisely how long it was to walk around and just decided to wing it and see while I was there. Is the perfect amount for a good hike around it though.
