Awesome Sledding at Klewenalp, Switzerland

Klewenalp-Stockhütte is small ski resort located high above the village of Beckenried and Lake Lucerne (Vierwaldstättersee) in Central Switzerland. It is a great place for winter sports, like sledding. The 9km long sled run, which is the longest in Central Switzerland, can be found here.
We've visited Klewenalp on a gloomy winter day in March 2018. The weather wasn't ideal, but the conditions for sledding were amazing - piles of fresh snow, nicely prepared sledge runs and almost no other people sledding on them. We've sledged down the Chälen run few times, then sledged down the Klewenstock run before we took the Aengi lift to get us back to Klewenalp area. Somewhere on the way we've built a snowman and made snow angels. It was a great day out on the snow! See for youself!

It really is awesome. Though it is much more dangerous thank it seems. There was an article in Swiss magazine a while ago, saying sledding cause the most injuries from all the winter sports. I have never done dog sledding, just the regular sledding down the hill, but would absolutely LOVE to do it one day. Looks like so much fun.
