You really have an immense talent for putting togethermthese Blues Backing Tracks!!! You have the ear to know what works. I really love the texture of your sound on this specific Black Les Paul type guitar. Very curious about what pickups are in it? Originals or upgraded? Thank you VERY much for being so generous with your music!

Hey Quist! First of all, thank you so much for creating these beautiful tracks to jam on!! You keep the blues flame more alive than ever 🔥🔥. Is it possible to use this backing track for a guitarist to jam over it to include as a part of the music for an independent shortfilm??

Isnt Since I Been Lovin You by LZ played in this key? I had to slow things down to see how you are using the Pentatonic pattern in this key. As far as changing keys and the correct note to land on Im trying to find it. Thx! Oh, I found the tab too! Ive been missing far too much by not seeing the links.

I Would really love to know your opinion on the Strat and Les Paul. Which one is more naturally good for you when playing slow blues?
@twentysix_26 Жыл бұрын
how did u come up with that in the beginning? when i try to do something like that it’s the same notes over and over again
@QuistJam Жыл бұрын
Just many years of improvising a lot 🤷♂️ Learn lots of new licks and work them into your playing to “unstuck” yourself. I have lots of lessons on this on my patreon if you’re interested in learning that kinda thing. Have fun! 🎸🎸

Playing the minor penta but does not sound like a solo…. Should I always land on the note from the track? Sounds terrible…haha
@Elite_Success4 ай бұрын
Phrasing is important, try having some breaks in the solo like the guy in the video. Also penta might get boring after a while, you can use the full minor scale
