[Slow commentary] Hand-stitched buttonholes [no sewing machine required]

It is useful for remaking clothes and making accessories, and it is a DIY that gives you a great sense of accomplishment when you sew it beautifully.
Even if your home sewing machine is broken and you can't sew buttonholes, it's okay! (It's me (￣▽￣;))
The timetable is below.
00:33 Measure the diameter of the button
00:51 Measure the thickness of the button
01:27 Draw a line for the length of the buttonhole
01:59 Mark with thin thread
03:28 Make detailed marks with a pencil
04:41 Length of thread to use
05:08 Insert the needle leaving the end of the thread
10:37 Switch to the other side and sew the ends
11:33 Thread processing on the back of the fold
16:01 The other end
16:57 Final thread processing
19:20 Buttonhole cut with ripper
20:55 　Try to put the button in.

てぃーさま、お返事ありがとうございます。 手でかがってる時間もとっても気持ちが落ち着いて楽しかったです。😊 ミシンが調子悪くても出来るんだって、嬉しかったです。 還暦過ぎて洋裁をゼロから始めた者です。 若い時は洋裁に縁のなかった私ですが、今はじっくり時間を掛けて取り組んで楽しさが分って来た今日このごろです。 これからも拝見させて頂きます。 宜しくお願いします。

ブランケットステッチな上に綿糸だと強度かなり弱いですよ

コメントありがとうございます^_^ 強度で思い出したのですが、 そう言えば昔の綿糸は、まー色々と ありましたね(;´д｀)ｱｯﾀ! ｱｯﾀﾜｧー! 比較的最近にリニューアルされた某メーカーの綿糸はやや細身ですが強度はアップしてると感じます。 普段着なら大丈夫です(^-^) 布地が先に駄目になるのではと思います。近年の服地はペラペラで摩耗が早くてちょい残念です。
