As a kid we would have either ham or turkey or sometimes both depending on the holiday. I remeber thinking to myself that I could not recall ever seeing a ham bird. Then it dawned on me that ham was in fact a piece of pork...lol And then I remembered why so much laughter when asked If I wanted a piece of ham, and I said "yes, I will take a wing"...😂😂😂

So, I asked my husband to get a can of pineapple to make spiral ham dinner. But he got a fresh pineapple assuming it should be better than a can of pineapple. I read one recipe that says "fresh pineapple will break down the texture of the ham and make it mushy." Sure enough, it turned out mushy. But why??? Why doesn't a fresh pineapple work for the spiral ham? I even put a half of the pineapple in a food processor to make it chunky and juicy.

The term "ham " by definition is cooked. There is no such thing as an uncooked ham. They are smoked. Otherwise, it is known as PORK MEAT. The level of stupidity in grown humans is astounding. Second only to drive to open your mouth and prove it.
