I grew up with your music in T.O. Great tune. I’ve dealt with a lot of health issues this last 2 years. Can so relate to the lyrics of this song. I really hope it’s a huge hit for you😊

I’m SO impressed by the guitarists finger picking! Incredible generally but really impressive coordination for someone with Parkinson’s. Can’t wait to play this for my dad who has Parkinson’s. He played professional jazz (Sax) in the 1960s & 1970s and will get such a kick out of this. He loves to tell new diagnosis folk it’s “use it or lose it” and lives that mantra no matter what curve balls Parkinsons throws him. He will be so proud of you both for continuing to follow your passions with Parkinson’s. Thanks so much!

Thanks for sharing your story Ashley,. We forwarded this to Fabio Dwyer, the wonderful guitarist on the song and it made his day! Every bit of positivity helps all of us.

Hi! My brother-in-law sent me the link to your Parkinson’s story today and I’m so glad he did. I was diagnose with Parkinson’s last month after it had wreaked havoc on my ability to play guitar and to some extent on my singing. It helped lift me up knowing others, and other musicians are and have been dealing with the same battle and still making music. I too wrote a song, a metaphor as well, called “Where Do I Go From Here?”; it was about my depression, denial, and mourning of the losses in music I was suffering before I finally got diagnosed. I’ve only recorded an acoustic live version (@tomwardmuzic) at this time. I wrote t as a fingerstyle version but by the time I recorded it, I could no longer play that version on the guitar. I have also blogged my experiences on my KZbin channel and Facebook site, so that I, like you, might help others! Thank you and God Bless You for helping in the awareness and fight against PD. Not sure what my journey might look like, n But I hope I can keep making music for a long time like you.❤️🎶😎

Thanks for sharing this Tom. It's important to remember none of us are alone facing PD and that 24/7, there are good people all over the world working towards slowing it down and finding a cure. As a songwriter/musician you have a way to express what you're going through which can be very helpful. Adapt when you have to, and exercise as much as you are able! All the best!

Thank you! That is my plan and path going forward! Thank you for writing and releasing “Slow Emotion”, a great song which is certain to raise PD awareness. Wishing you much continued success in your music and in your PD battle.❤️

There's a song in my head going 'round and 'round... Loved you guys right from the very first minute. The 80s was a great time for new wave music, and the music is still with me/us today. Love the new single. Much love to Martha and the Muffins. Man overboard!
