Thanks for always very informative video... i also purchased 1 of these Fcustom last month.. I already catch 48.6lbs grouper on the fall I uploaded it in my channel also on my very first trip with my Ocea Jigger FCustom, note on the fall i used the fall lever and caught my first once in a lifetime fish. Always enjoy the jigging/sj/lj Videoes from shimano especially Mr Yamamoto. Have learned a lot . The place I go fishing has strong current and it sometimes require 16oz sinker to hold bottom. So my question is, in a situation with strong current, what kind of jig would work? Thank you!

Does shimano will making the PG model for F-Custom OJ?

F-custom series is made for SJ needed. I don't think any kind of advantage using Low Gear for SJ except, you go for really shallow 40-60m? maybe but, still people go using HG anyway. so I don't think Shimano will release low gear model. but, who knows!

@@tunasandwhich2972 i wish they did.. here we jigging from 300-900' most of the time seems the shallow area become harder to get a good fish... 112cm for every ratio can easily killing your arms not count fighting a queen snappers from a depth of 600'... I tried my cousin studio ocean mark PG model and i was surprised how easier to jig and bringing up a fish from a depth of 600'. Problem is Studio Ocean Mark is freaking expensive lol

@@CelebesViking that's quite interesting depth. I see your reason but, they have OJ 3000 PG that seem fulfill your needed I think. and f**k that som really charged $1,200 for 10% more performance than OJ, well that's what High End is.

My point is at shallow any Rod can move a jig .. Going deeper and meeting currents THEN you see the authority of the Rod - sorry I have this Rod and stays usually home - no good

Editing... no need to watch every entire fight. 300 g. jig, with general recommendation of 1 gram per foot of depth, that's about right for 100 m. Love this reel, also love the Saltigas.
