Yesterday it rained here in Florida. A slow light rain with a gentle wind. It was a day of reflecting for me as I lost a dear sweet family member. I put out pictures of us , as children, burned candles, drank some tea & had a lovely time remembering the happy good days. It was a slow peaceful day. A grateful day for her life & our times of life together. Thank you for being you & sharing with me. ❤️

I love rain and If it rains at bedtime then the rain often, together with a thunderstorm, becomes like a lullaby for me...💖 And it is so calming watching the drops of water turn into small runnels on the windowpane! 💖

Super rainy too in Paris. So warm tea, cooking (roasted veggies, soups, weekly meal prep) reading a good book/watching docimentaries is the way to go ! (Already made some stewed appples and deshelled the walnuts somebody offered me 🙏 i will probably have a good bath/beauty session tonight 🤗 I like heavy rain, when i can hear it. It makes me quiet

I love it when it rains, as you say, it reminds you to slow down. Where I work, people usually complaint about the rain and they look to me as if I am crazy when I say that I love when it rains. I simply love the rain. It gives me a sense that not only we have rainy days but so does our lovely Earth. She's cleansing herself for the better and for us. She deserves so much and we take advantage of her. Never really having the time to admire the beautiful place we live on but we decide to destroy it instead. As I appeared to be the only person I knew who felt this way I wondered whether I had been born into a rainy day world and so had felt comforted and at home. I love rainy days. I always have. Even as a small child in school, when it rained while I was in school, it made me feel safe and cozy in the building. But I’m 62 and the school buildings were different than they are now, especially in a small town. Now it gives me permission to stay home and out of the wet. A hot cup of tea and sit with a good book.
