I think men like naps more than women. My husband retired last June and I've been amazed at how many naps he can take!! 😒 One day I asked him: Did you nap today? No! I said "See! I knew you could do it!!" I'm with you on the crafting (hobby) thing. My sewing room is my heaven - to the point of swollen ankles at the end of the day from standing/drafting all day. Thanks for sharing, you look radiant.

Bless you.🤩 You need those naps... I also struggled...so many things to do, places to go, people to meet.... until hubby took my car keys away! I worked right up to 2 weeks before birth of my first baby and honestly I have always regretted my stupidity!.... For the other 2 babies I knew better....lay down, put on some relaxing music, place earphones over belly and notice the difference! Luv ya 😘

I think that reminder to slow down becomes even more necessary once baby is born and growing through childhood. Down time is very important for children to have to connect with family, dream, and to experience a calm time to experiment in play and have time in nature. Those families who live in cars because they are constantly keeping a schedule for one child or the other at activities is hard on kids emotional health. As a preschool teacher, I could always tell in the classroom when kids were not spending down time at home. There are times when a child just needs to stay home and not go to one function or the other. if an adult is feeling frazzled by a hectic day, you can bet a kid is feeling it three times worse.

Great video! I have twins I had to slow down that for sure u will slow down when baby come u need to learn to sleep when baby comes there be many nights u be up with the little one so what I did sleep when baby sleep ! Who cares about cleaning havw house keeper spending time with the little one best thing and go slow ! Drew will be working I am thinking when baby comes I think nit heard u say he be home full time ! I had my hunny do morning feeding lol befor work never in middle of the night cause he work all day ! ! Congratulations rest when u can or sleep when u can !

Things happen so fast, the world is spinning crazily on its axis and it's hard to keep up with everything so, why try to? The only thing we have any real power over us ourselves, if your body says slow down, listen. Take the time to enjoy the time that's left of your pregnancy, It's the closest you will be to your baby, fulfilling all of its needs, all too soon the leisurely waddle will turn back into a sprint, keeping baby, fed,clean,clothed,safe,healthy and above all very much loved, the best days are yet to come...enjoy

Just do it. Do not plan except maybe schedule certain times during the week that you pace yourself a lot slower. Block it out on your calendar and do not anything interrupt it except for an emergency. Take walks which I sure you two do. Takes walks with the new baby. Just suggestions.
