this is so accurate. I honestly got chills watching this and it made me think to the inovations star wars made in 1977 and how impossible it seamed. This really has the same effect of seaming like it has to be CGI but its not and thus so real looking that it completly suspends our disbelief and captures us. I want to see a new space film inspired by OG star wars methods and this technique that seems like it MUST be tons of CGI but is instead just masterfully crafted shots with real practical effects and props. I miss Dan, but the robot is a good replacement until he's back. I vote we call the robot "Dan II". Seeing gushing streams in slow motion really emphasizes the random and chaotic nature of science too; where it spreads, how much it spreads in any direction other than up, and how messy it is afterwards are all fun to experience. Really hope the robot isn't a limited thing.

We can just call the robot Dan and the other Dan will be Dan II.

I've watched gav and Dan for 6 years, it's gone from backyard experiments, guest appearances, big sets and research lessons to absolutely beautiful art. Im astonished. But gav, does rocks float on lava?

That top down angle with the soda flying towards us is the most cinematic thing I’ve seen on this channel. Totally reminded me of The Abyss, absolutely freaking love it!

The following of the mint down was also crazy good. It didn't even look real. Bravo

This literally is one of the coolest videos I've ever seen on the tubes of you. the shot of the "mint" dropping in front of the lens was incredible. Fabulous video Gav. they just get better and better as you learn more techniques. Oh, and BTW, I'm a Mio junkie myself so was pleased to see them sponsor you.
@Gazmus3 жыл бұрын
Are you suspicious that it wasn't really a mint?

@@Gazmus nah. but since the "mint" company that didn't sponsor the video shall not be named, I just put it in quotes.

what an incredible episode, you nailed those shots, the cinematography, the music, just - wow. despite being an ad, i think this was better than a lot of films, tbh. and you were dead on with the CGI and Portal comments, lmao. well done programming the fancy robot, dude
