Alright, full disclosure here.... I filmed a really cool section on day 3 of my Snake River fly fishing float trip for rainbows, browns and cutthroat, but later I realized I accidently filmed the entire section with my camera's slow motion setting on. So, I decided to make a slow mo video instead. Hope you guys enjoy! :-)

Damn that Snake River trip was amazing! I like the slow mo. I've done a few casting scenes in slo mo in my videos. Mine are no were near as elegant as yours but I like the look of the line unfurling in slo mo. That last fish was so big he almost pulled you into the water! Great video !

Hey, I just found your channel and wanted to say you do great camera work and great editing. Really enjoyed watching! I moved to Colorado from the Portland a little over a year ago. Spent many great days on the rivers of OR & SW WA including the mighty Deschutes fly fishing for trout and steelhead. Now I'm exploring CO and finding some amazing places here too. By the way, you could do a clinic on what good casting, mending and line control look like -- skilled angler for sure. Keep up the great work! Love it!

Hi Mike! it's an old Sage Diiscovery rod from the early 1990s. If I were to pick one up today I would get a Sage trout LL 6 weight.
