Good information for a complete novice and a recently retired Englishman. Your video taught me more about this than any other tutorials who seem to get bogged down in complicated jargon rather than straight to the point like you, thank you very much. John. UK

Just went from sony vegas to adobe premiere, and I'm so confused. Was awesome to find a tutourial where someone actually shows how to make the ramp and not just only chop sections and change the speed on each one. This looks alot better with the ramps. It's not hard to do it this way, but for someone new like me, this makes you my hero of the day :D Will be sticking around this channel for a while! ;) Thanks alot and have a lovely day!

Hey Gal, a quick and easy way of making a freeze frame is to right click your clip on the timeline and select "frame hold segment". Same end result but saves a step.

Thanks for the tip! A suggestion....I know you covered multicam editing a while back. I would love to know a good work flow to take pieces of a multicam recording and place them into the timeline. Sadly you can't edit a multicam segment in the project window, like normal clips. I just want to now how you Pro's do it....and select between the microphones as needed!

Source Monitor is what I meant (sorry!) I know with MultiCam you end up editing it within the timeline. But I would love a "best practice" since I am so use to grabbing my In/Out from the Source Monitor and dragging it into the timeline. I can't seem to wrap my head around how to do that process with MultiCam (without a lot of crazy cut/paste into a new timeline. (Noob alert!)

Yeah it's "Pretty Cool" indeed, the actress in the video is also pretty and also cool. Great tuts by the way, I didn't know it can be done in Premiere Pro CC. I used to Splice my footage and expand it to make the slow motion tingy, but now i'll just do what you demonstrated here. Thanks!

This is very informative. I like you said that the more frame, the more story and the better slow motion looks. I am just using my phone and it has only 30fps. So I could not do slow mo in detail, like you do. Moreover, I am just using imovie though.

Thank you for the video, I have switched from Vegas to Premiere, mainly in part due to my son as he uses it in his University course and I am trying to come to grips with PPCC. I have multiple video sources, a Galaxy S9 which has normal 24/30 fps, slow mo at 240 fps and Super slow at 920 fps, although that is restricted to 0.2 of a second shooting time which equates to 6 seconds of footage, the S9 shoots in 720P, 1080P and 2.7K, Super slow is restricted to 720P. I also use a GoPro Hero 7 with speeds ranging from 24 to 240 fps and frame size from 720P to 4K. Both also have time lapse. I am experimenting with slow motion filming and your video has been a big help, again thank you.
