Walter, I am a late bloomer to the You Tube world here haha, but I just discovered this video in my recommendations. This means the world to me because this was the train watching spot with my late grandparents. Their house was not even a minute away from here. Judging the distance from the tracks, it would be right across from where you were filming, just over Powder Springs Highway. I have stood in this spot many many times over the years and took pictures of the CSX, but I can recall the early 80s when it was still the L&N. I always loved it when the caboose would go by on that line. Funny remembrance here, my dear old grandmother once dove under those same crossing gates with her 1969 Dodge Dart Swinger, and the gate bounced off the roof of her car! HAHAHAH. Walter, thank you for taking me back home for a few minutes!

Well, it sure was a beautiful day there in Marietta. We're having a lovely day like that here today, too, in central Germany. It's a bit cool with a light breeze, but a cloudless sky. Those CSX locos sure look like they could use a bit of TLC. :-) Good catch, Walter. Thanks for sticking it out.
