Thoroughly enjoyed my evening stitching along with you Mira. I will do another evening or 2 before I post my snippet roll. That was really fun and I learned some helpful things by watching you stitch... so enjoyable. Thank you for sharing. 💜🪡🧵💜

Ooh, thank YOU for stitching along! The thought of that makes me happy! 😍😍 I’m spending this weekend putting all the rag quilt blocks together and, quite frankly, I could do with a little hand stitching to switch off from all that right now .. 🤯🤣

I don’t know why, but I never tried a mediation scroll. I confess that I need my things to have a purpose, because when they do, I am admiring them constantly, in a bag, in a pouch, a book cover, etc. I know the scrolls may have numerous ways of using them, but I still haven’t found mine, I guess. However, I really enjoyed having your company while I stitch, since, as you know, I don’t have that in “real” life. And your roll is beautiful and full of lovely colours 💙💜❤️💛🩵💚🤎🧡♥️🩷🤍

🙋🏼♀️Hi, Mira, I’ve really gotten behind on watching your videos. I’ve been doing a thorough cleaning of my apartment in anticipation of a family visit. They’ve come and gone and now I have a cold/flu and I’ve been searching for something very easy and relaxing to make while I recuperate and I think this is exactly what will work. I really enjoy your videos so much ❣️🥰

@bluebellhillcrafts6 ай бұрын
WOW!!!! 🙋♀️

you ALL say not to stress but everything I see you all doing is NOT the work of nervous beginners,who have no idea of design.all I see are experienced workers results.and I truly believe it is self promotion.
@bluebellhillcrafts6 ай бұрын
I’m not sure who else you are referring to - I can only speak for myself and I always hope that my videos are inclusive and speak to anyone from absolute beginners to more experienced sewers. This snippet roll does require no design skills, it’s just about the process of adding any kind of fabric scraps onto a piece of cloth and adding simple stitches to them. Enjoying the process of stitching is very relaxing and rewarding for many people. As there is no set outcome or final design to be achieved, there really is no need for the stitcher to feel pressure to make their project look a certain way or to compare it to those of others. It’s really not about that. And if you’re solely stitching for yourself, I’m not sure where the nervousness comes in? You don’t have to share your make with anyone and no one is going to judge it. I’m genuinely interested to understand where you’re coming from. I also think there is no right or wrong beauty aesthetic here, so I wouldn’t judge the stitched scroll by a more experienced sewer to be more pleasing than that done by a beginner. So, with respect, I disagree with the underlying assumption in your comment that beginners can’t produce equally meaningful pieces and that they are somehow ‘less’. The only person who has to like and enjoy what you do is yourself 😊.. I hope that gives you a bit of context of where I’m coming from and might make you look at this video in a different light. I do hope so! 🙋♀️

@@bluebellhillcrafts thank you for responding to me. I really appreciate it. I am 70 and only in the last few years have I tried sewing . always hated anything to do with it. now I really want to hand sew.do not respond to frayed sewing and feel pressured to be like all the people I watch. long instilled pressure of perfection and achieving it from the very beginning are what I mentally struggle with. just yesterday I cried again,to my son that I have wasted money on achieving nothing and feel nothing but guilt.I so want to feel useful. I do enjoy watching you just carefree adding bits of fabric and sewing. left a question for you on another video earlier today. I did not mean to offend.so very frustrated and stressed. and I guess it comes out in the wrong format.thank you for taking the time to talk with me.

I was actually thinking of you when I made this video 😍😍😍 and remembered our exchanges about having / not having people in our lives to share things with. My heart goes out to you! For all the evil it can bring at times, I'm so grateful for the meaningful connections the internet can bring, too! ❤️ I love sharing my passion for stitching and textiles with you and you've been part of my creative journey pretty much since I started on Instagram and I have been so, so inspired by your beautiful work over the years. THANK YOU 🥰😍❤️🧵🪡😘
