My summer has been lovely so far. We just celebrated my firstborn’s 2nd birthday and we have our 5 month old who’s in such a cute and fun age. This is my first year as a homemaker after quitting my job. I’m living in so many answered prayers 🥰

how wonderful to hear you say that you love keeping your home! ...so many women nowadays feel ashamed if they don't "work" or try to make us "stay-at-home" ladies feel guilty or lazy for the choice we've made! I had to work for years but when our children were home and growing up, I was very blessed to be able to stay home with them. My husband still works but is semi retired. I Work 2 to 3 days a week for 3 hours each day. The additional income is what we use to thrift, buy some of the necessary large items for our home as well as extra ministry opportunities. My husband is a retired minister but we still find it necessary for him to work as well. The Lord has blessed our efforts and is always faithful to provide for our needs. I have always loved taking care of our home, cooking and preparing almost all of our meals is not only a time saver but also a great money saver as well. My husband is a hard worker and I love to have a clean home, fresh laundry and a healthy meal for us when he gets home. I do so appreciate your videos. Thank you for sharing! ❤

Just volunteered at my parishes vacation Bible school this past week……it was M-F (9-1) with lots of activities and a full lunch everyday. I am a grandmother who has always really enjoyed kids. I am off to weekend retreat later this month. Summer is flying by and I am experiencing it to the max. God is good.

Ahhhh, the socks!!! When i can't find the match after about a month of waiting for it to reappear, I'll just throw the sock in with my rags. If they are cotton socks, they make the best rags. I'll use them to clean my windows with plain ole white vinegar. 😂

Hi Sarah…lovely video. I love being home and taking care of my home. I worked outside the home when my children were older. I’m retired now and am such a homebody. Love decorating, cooking and I have a large perennial garden. Your home is so cozy and welcoming, you have done an excellent job with your English cottage decor. Have you checked the hiding spots in your dryer? Someone also showed there is a compartment to open that socks end up in under the dryer door, but I don’t know where that would be in newer dryers!

Mmmm my entire family loves squash!😋 We like it cooked country style, slice it in round slices, chop up lots of onions in it & fry it. Some like to roll it in flour, we like it without the flour. They're also good sliced up with potatoes cut up in chunks, chopped onions & boiled. Lots of Pepper right way.. just a couple recipe hideaway!😊 I like to ad zukini to kabobs when we make them for the grill or in hibachi..so good dipped in the yum yum sauce! Those chairs are really pretty! I have a small basket also that i keep those socks in that the washer are its mate or the mate ram away & got lot.. Not sure which 🤷‍♀️ I think there's one or two that's mine, the rest, maybe half a dozen, are my hubbies. But most of his we buy in the 10 or 12pr packs so we can usually keep them mated pretty good. Just A tip: water late in the evenings after sundown Adi the water will be soaked up by the plants, or if they're in the shade water early morning..if you water in the daytime when the sun is shining on the plants or near time for the sun to hit them, the sun will soak up most of the water. We always had our sprinklers run in the night, that's when you see them running all around Florida also! I always watered my porch plants/flowers early morning & those that got morning or daytime sun i watered at night. You have A beautiful home, it always seems like i can smell the freshness thru the screen😊 always enjoy your videos, just so relaxing.. Which is much needed! Right now summer is Chaotic lol.. we're in the process of moving from Tennessee to Florida, staying with my son, his wife & 9mth old, husband trying to get his job going, looking for our in place & trying to learn the area, we have our 3yr old & almost 5yr old grandchildren for several weeks and its smoldering hot🥵 And i don't do well with hot! Its too hot outside for the kids to play until late evening! That's hard on them, they're from Tennessee also, used to being outside every day. But by the grace of the good Lord, I'm surviving 🙌🏻 Just keep us in your prayers please! Look forward to your next video😊
