@@lowpass_fpv The airplane is only 200$ with fc and gps, plus 20-dollar receiver too though, right? Then let's say you get a rm boxer for 140, goggles L for 200, and a walksnail vtx for 150, making this 710 dollars. Although with DJI yes it would be more expensive plus this is American money without taxes or shipping, and it is a budget option.

What sort of throttle percentage and current draw is requred to maintain the cruise speeds? Location looks like something an FPV Slope Soarer could glide at for hours.

around 55% and 10A for 80 km/h, minimun is 6A for 60km/h stall if lower than 50km/h
