This song has a special place in my heart. Funnily enough, it was actually the song by which I discovered Slowdive! Which is very random considering this is nowhere near their most popular or whatnot. In December of ‘22, my favorite band, Inhaler, created a playlist on Spotify called “Inhaler’s Xmas Playlist,” and this was one of the first songs on there. Me being such a huge fan, I listened to the playlist and this song surprised me since it was so different to anything I’ve ever been exposed to up to that point in music. I guess you can call it my introduction to shoegaze. From then I just had to listen to the album that this song was from, and of course I LOVED IT. Now I’m not even a casual listener of Slowdive-I’m a passionate one. Now it’s been over a year since I was first exposed to them and “Go Get It,” so this song isn’t anywhere near my favorites from Slowdive, but even then, whenever I do listen to this song, it’s a great experience. And obviously it’s forever in my heart 💙

I enjoyed reading your interpretation. I think they were actually inventing a New language here. Outside of the chorus everything sounds like a nonsensical language

I also would agree, since it really isn't far stretched that Slowdive would vocalize in their songs but some parts of the song do have partially coherent sentences that makes me think otherwise. On my channel is a vocal-only mix of the song but there's still the delay+reverb+etc edit: yes, I am Againya23, just responding here because I don't wanna reupload to that account haha
