Hence “shes wide awake” She becomes aware of life, and the problems she let go for so long, and she finally faces her inner demons. And finds her inner child. “You can see this in the music video as well”. She’s falling from cloud 9 “She’s starting to mature herself” she’s getting off her teenage era. Which this song was actually that last of the “Teenage dream” album. Basically summed up, she woke up, and she isn’t blind to her problems, and is learning how to face them, and isn’t letting anything stand in her way. She’s wide awake.

This song has a bit of a different meaning to me. My mother struggled a LOT with abusing substances back when she was in high school, and that continued for a while longer as the years passed. When this song came out, she'd tell me this is exactly how she would feel. "Falling from cloud 9, crashing from the high." "I was in the dark" "I was falling hard with an open heart." "I wish I knew then what I know now." Now, she is scoring over three years sober and couldn't be happier. Although she lives 4 hours away from me in a home for women, I couldn't be more proud of who she is today. I listen to this song today and think; "Wow... I'm so damn proud of you mom." She really did go through the "I'm letting go tonight" Hey mom. If you see this, I love you

Story idea: The war is over. (WWII) Soldiers help freeing People from the KZ. Then there is a person one soldier notices. It is their old friend. After all the terror and sadness their see each other again. They thought each other where dead. They cry and hug each other tightly whiles the other soldiers help the people get out. They don’t speak. They are just happy the war is finally over. The Girl has the shine of happiness in her eyes and is just happy that she will life and will have a “normal” life again. She was hold in captivity a year ago and had almost nothing to eat. She soon had died through gas. A few month later the soldier and the girl are getting married. They now are fighting against her trauma, but are still happy it is finally over. Hope you liked my story :) sorry if my English isn’t the best. It isn’t my first language :).
