Here I am, listening to this. To me this tune is not sad, it's apathetic. As written in some of previous comments, unhappy person just decides to not care about anything, going with the flow, abandoning any hope to solve the accumulated problems. This person just can not persevere anymore, they can't think of a way to get out of this giant pit of problems. The will is strong, but the pressure was stronger.

It's like the life of an unhappy person. The beginning of the song is not so sad, but gradually it changes its direction in a more sinister direction. As this person lives, there are more and more problems that he tries to solve, but nothing works out for him, and this puts more and more pressure on him... After the climax of misfortunes (5:02), he decides to just give up and go with the flow, rotting...

I can say the song is good. Its only good because i dont know the proper wording to describe how incredible this song is. Ive always been fond of music with no lyrics and finding this has brought me great joy. I listen to this song when going to sleep or studying or even just doing chores. Excellent song. Made me realize something too, which i am not qualified to explain in any way and gonna make myself sound completely idiotic, but.... the song has basically repeating rhymes, right? Example 2:30 to 2:37 the tone goes up instead of remaining the same or going down. I dont know if this is just a personal thing, as in only valid to me personally, or its something that affects/effects everybody the same way but... this effect somehow creates disassociation instantly for me. Its like... you know music can be focused around your person or a person. Giving you a sensation of empowerment, or a specific emotion. The effect of this song is the nadir of that. It disassociates with the person and the ego. The way that pattern is broken by an increasing tone, makes me think of not a person, not emotions, but instead of things, scenes, sceneries. In that way "Slowly rotting" is a perfect title. The song is like observing a process happening. Its not associated with emotions or your person, but instead of something that happens outside or despite of it. Truly interesting. Its a good song, and it was a very interesting realization too.

A little story I created using this song as inspiration. As the guests arrive, and the banquet begins the noise level rises. The king and queen speak with the dukes and duchesses of the uraial, vyaila, and uriaoniun. They speak of matters of trade and protections. The other dukes and duchesses talk with less nobility about protection, how to tax the pensants, new art they collected, and much more. *Cling* A metallic sound rings through the hall, all the nobility and royalty look up. The first princess stands atop the stage the end of the banquet, so high it is all can see her clearly. Her beautiful blue fire hair drapes down from her head, and jade eyes glisten for all to see. In her hand is a knife and a chalice. “Thank you all for coming to today’s feast. “ She announces clearly. Claps erupt out from the crowd. “I hope you enjoy this final meal of today.” See announces as the servants bring the food out. They nobility sit and feast on food presented to them. Not noticing that every servant has left leaving only nobility. *Cling* Another metallic chime. Princess wanted to speak. This annoyed the quest for they want to continue to feast but they listened for fear of royal family retribution. “I know the recent unrest has scared many of you.” This is true for most of the nobility has just gotten back from suppressing groups spreading ideas of direct democracy. The ideas these peasants were getting was absurd to them. Those idiotic peasants ruling themselves? They would starve in minutes. Though some nobility like their ideas they still didn’t want to lose their privileges. “I have just come back from talking with one of them and it seems moral is down. There shall not be any more revolts as it stands.” This relived the nobility for they no longer had to tarnish their image and loss their wealth fighting them. They could continue to hoard as they see fit. “Disgusting.” Mumbled the princess as she peeked into the noble’s thoughts. Their thoughts were only slightly better than her father’s and mothers. They only thought about starting of another war of conquest. “Though truthfully that how it DID stand.” The nobility ears peaked. “To be honest their ideas were intriguing. I found so much connection to who they are. To their humanity. Especially found the idea of our existence being useless captivating. We only rule over them to tell them what to do but truly they are the ones who know. We only making into rules. Then steal their hard earned labor for our own gain forcing them to do other jobs to survive. We serve no purpose but to steal from them. For what reason can we do this? Because we own the land? Even with this argument can we really say we own it? We do nothing with it, instead forcing others to work it for our benefit. We are useless in this society. We should not exists.” The king stands up at this comment and screams, “You spew this heretical words, but truly you can do nothing. You are also nobility. You can do nothing for then it must be done upon yourself. You only like these ideas for you are ungrateful.” “Truly it is easy to remove class and power, unlike your history and parents. Though don’t worry I shall also join you in hell.” “The only one going to hell is you.” Screams the queen. “No we all are, whether or not it exists. For you see after hearing this ideas from the people, I decided we must repay them in full. Though truly it could not be payed physically. So I decided to do so through art.” “Where is this piece” yelled a famous less noble. He had gotten his title through stealing of others works, selling them off as his own. “This art is banquet dear noble. You are the art.” “I shall never be art.” Scream the duke of uraial. “Knights charge!” As the less noble knights charge they feet his the floor. One, two, three. Then they collapsed faces rotted. Arms malnourished. Legs ripped in half with Margots with green spreading around. “Oh now you can’t go around having you destroy my piece. You are trapped here. I have ripped you out of time. You shall live eternal though only as long as you stay still. You have no need for food or to breathe. You all and I shall remain here eternally. To be art and entertainment for the new world outside. One without hierarchy.” “ You witch. “ said the queen. “ Hahaha call me that all you like. It quite a good descriptor of me. Truly I can wait for you all to rotte away so that I can leave. See this world I have help created with my own eyes. Though until then I shall suffer with you. So please stay seated lady DeMarcet. “ This is the last words spoken. As they sit eternal. Slowly as the world changes and castle grows vines. Workers come in keeping the walls in check though other than this nothing comes. People visit to art piece all the time. Talking with the old princess as she stays seated on the stage. Dangling her feat just like see had been on that first day. Eternally sitting waiting for the day she can be free. The princess sits watching the her art piece. Grass vines and trees growing all around. With only a few nobility to be seen. When will this end? When will can she go and see the society see help create? Who knows. Only she will see this through to end punishing this thieves until their end.

Charging to it with some of my remaining strength, i put a gash into its stomach. Yes! Progress! It throws me away, causing my wounds to deepen. I won't make it out of here alive. I still... Have one minute. I can kill it. I can... I can't move my body. It scurries over to me... Staring me in the eye... As i land a small punch. That's all i have the power to do... 10 seconds, now. 9. 8. 7. 6. 5. 4. 3... 2... On..... ... ... ... ... ...
