Never saw Freddie so c h i l l, what a funny boy. I just watched a great video on how to deal with embroidery floss and learned that if we pull from the center (NOT the one closest to the label/outside) it "won't get knotted up. I'd put the link here, but YT gets cranky about that...it's by Sarah Homfray Embroidery and it's called "How many strands do I use? Tips on how to use & organise embroidery stranded cotton, floss & threads". I learned so much 🤓 LOVE your postcards, so beautiful 😍

Hello Janet. I LOVE your postcards they’re such a fresh idea for using scraps of fabric. Your two tulips are gorgeous. I used the stamens in some hot water to dye some scraps of cross stitch fabric. Gives a beautiful lilac colour. The longer you leave the fabric in the water deeper the colour. Sending my regards. 😊

I am going to set a couple up to take to the hospital then I will have something to do for the hour wait time before the procedure. Thanks for the idea. Something I have been doing with the small threads and wool, making small balls like beads. You get the threat together into a ball and sew though the ball until it is sturdy. Then when you want to use them for something you just have to draw a thread through as many as you need. Would make a cool galena for Christmas or when ever. even to decorate your garden. Have the best day. Bye Janet Flo Jennifer and good old Freddie from Canada.
