not a glitch, rather an oversight text "thingies" are normal HTML ""s that are resized to fit the text once it reaches the edge your browser adds a vertical scrollbar to fit the content this also hapens with scratch paint.

I found a glitch that makes scratch lag so much you can crash it: 1. Make a list with more than 100000 sections 2. Make a block Difine the block is defining 5 times 3. Make a clone delete a clone of itself and delete itself at the same time 4. Start it.

Just found an unstoppable way to confuse Scratch: 1. Add the “Text to Speech” extension. 2. Add a message and name it. 3. Put in the hat block “When I receive [message].” 4. Connect it with the “speak” block and put in any word in the input. 5. Now put a “when green flag clicked” block alone. 6. Put the “broadcast [message]” block in a forever loop with no delay. 7. Start the project. As you can see, it is now pretty loud, and I’m telling you, you can’t stop it, especially by pressing the stop sign!

I found a way to broke Variables names (in the project): 1- make a variable (I will use "broken") 2- make the code: when clicked green flag forever create clone of "myself" set "broken" to "0" wait "broken" second glide "broken" secs to "random position" wait "broken" second change "broken" by "pick a random "1" to "1000000000000000000000000000000000000000" " 3- Put when I start as a clone and write the same thing in the "2" after you did these game will be laggy and the variable (broken) name will be empty (It is going to be empty for a second and come back. I found another way to crash scratch: 1. Make a new sprite (or use the scratch cat) 2. Add a "set drag mode (draggable)" and run it. 3. Then go to the new sprite's "Sounds" tab. 4. Remove all sounds of the new sprite. 5. Then go to the new backdrop's "Sounds" tab. 6. Add any sound you want 7. Drag the new sprite. 8. Exit full-screen mode 9. You crashed scratch.

There is a way ti create a hacked block. It only works on windows PC thiugh. 1. Create a blank project 2. Add a ‘when green flag clicked’ 3. Save the project to your computer 4. In file explorer, rename the file, and change the .sb3 to .zip 5. A confirmation box will appear, click yes 6. Right-click the zip file and extract it 7. Delete the zip file 8. Open the folder, and open ‘project.json’ in notepad 9. Where it says ‘event_whenflagclicked’, change that to anything 10. Save and close the file 11. Convert the folder back into a zip file 12. Change the .zip back to .sb3 13. Open scratch and load in the modified sb3 file Done!

Scratch can't handle extremely long sounds because it allows the sound MB Of at least 10mb. Separate your audios guys You can still have more than 10 mb on your projects though! Just remember to separate your audios

Bro i was found a bug in scratch. Steps how was i do it: 1. step: (from this video) 8:28 - only the special character need to be copied 2. step: open the online scratch editor and make a my block in any sprite (or in the stage) with other blocks or code in it 3. step: edit the my block and rename it to the copied special character 4. step: leave the sprite's/stage's code tab and then come back. What you will see is nothing of your code. The blocks are deleted even the special my block.

Scratch was made so a "run without screen refresh" script is restricted so if the script lasts more than .1 seconds it will make a frame. To bypass that you can use recursion (the script within the script) and it will be ignored since it's multiple scripts running one after another.
