There is a strong argument for him for sure. He can rhyme and tell a story, that's tough. Eminem, obviously has the wordplay, I'm sure he can tell a story but I believe most of his music is just wordplay, really fucking good wordplay. Either way, he is more than an mc, he is a poet (slug).

something just touched me with the desire to start freestyling. like ive tried a few times when i was drunk enough and around the right group. Im good at it, im just nervous and anxious. i just spent the whole night freestyling alone, could have wrote an album if any of it were recorded. Found this video late in the night and its so beautiful having a new view on freestyling and getting to study a slug freestyle that is as revealing as this. im freestyling for myself because its the first thinng i found that actually helps me recognize my problems and deal with my mental health. So its more for me than anyone else, but if it develops into more you might hear of me

The only person I've heard top that kinda freestyle is slug himself. Personal opinion but i can't find an mc that can make me laugh,think of my childhood,personally identify with, while at the same time coating it with intellect vocabulary and just dope rhymes. Eminem wouldn't stand a chance against Slug. Trust me, i am a stan. Slug spent most of his career in underground, freestyling, and battling. You need to go and watch slug battles. Eminem isn't even close to slug in battling and freestyling but eminem is one of the greatest artists, for sure.
