Difficult times ahead in South Africa with land appropriation laws. Not sure what the future holds for your farmers, men like you. Pray you have an outlet, a backdoor if needed. If they come for your guns, it's predictable what follows. Let go and leave.
@orlandofurioso79585 жыл бұрын
@@johnrambo1349 John, I understand hyperbole, so, all the Indians were not killed, however, it's what's called title by conquest. I have said in the past that unless one can conquer and then the conquerors breed in greater numbers than the conquered, keeping title isn't possible. In that regard, however, the fairy tale that the "noble savages," i.e., the American Indian, were "noble" is a lie. Different tribes fought, killed, conquered and took the best hunting grounds from the conquered. Returning to the long term success of a minority (in numbers) conqueror's keeping control over a majority in numbers of the conquered, look to the East Indies, Indonesia, the Dutch were eventually overthrown; look to India, the British were thrown out. Whether India is better off for the British having controlled it for so long, can be debated. What India kept is a British legal system, a civil system, that does provide some order to a country that is impossibly riddled with so many different religions and tribes. What the "whites" left of their jurisprudence was good. Inevitably, the whites in South Africa will also either leave, or, if not able, suffer from loss of power, suffer from losing "title by conquest" to the majority race, whether by force or by legislation. Afterwards, whether the majority race will destroy their economy (think of the former Rhodesia), is another matter. Whether the majority race is then better off remains for them to say. They will be ruled over by their own, and productive farmlands will be owned by their own. It's inevitable.

@@orlandofurioso7958 American influence was a huge reason for the loss of the British Empire. By 1943 the Americans had become the dominant partner, and Churchill was beginning to realize he was 2nd string to the Americans.

For south africa, it is a bit different. Nearly every black in south africa is an immigrant from the more northern parts of the continent. The white's have been there longer than the blacks. There was a very small sparsely populated group of natives in S africa, but they were wiped out by Bantu's and other blacks in the 1800's. The white S African's are essentially the native people of that land.
@p51mustang245 жыл бұрын
The great mistake of S africa was generously allowing blacks to immigrate into the country. It was, for a time, an advanced first white country. But it is now a 90% black hell hole. Some area's are still OK, but those are unsurprisingly white enclaves. It will not last. White's there are a persecuted minority.

It sounds like the air gun Claudio was shooting is almost a match for "standard velocity" .22lr. That's impressive from a .22 PCP. Also, while he tended to speak pretty slowly and clearly, so I could pick up a fair amount of it, my Spanish isn't that great. It would be great if we could get subtitles for when Claudio speaks- I would enjoy hearing more from him (and understanding it all)... Unless I just missed it, tbh I forgot to check the subtitle options while the video was playing...

interested in your huben shots, at what pressure, and roughly what clicks did you shoot? I'm finaly able to get NSA slugs in the Netherlands now, way more uniform then the huben solids of 39 gn and way more destructive plinking with their HP

180 bar, and not sure how many clicks because the wheel is broken. I’ve just left it where it is.
@Voliere-infoNl5 жыл бұрын
@@AirArmsHuntingSA haha thanks for your awsome fast response, so roughly 1000fps on 180bars. Thats promising. The huben solids almost made me sell my huben rifle again (no hollowpoint) but now we have the semi-boat tail slugs of 28grains from Nielsen also in Holland, so i can test those. Thanks for your response, and good luck with the pest control in SA, all those ground squirel holes don't look good for a farmer. We are blessed then with only "ground moles" which dig up a little but no big gaping holes like your farmers have from the ground squirels.
