Fitting and dyno testing a Scorpion Serket exhaust for the Vespa GTS

Sorry to come so late to the "party", but I have a question, does this pipe comply to Euro 3 or Euro 4 emissions rules? There are mixed opinions, but I think, since this exhaust came out in 2016 and the Euro 4 applies starting with January 1 2017, like I said, I think it's just Euro 3 compliant. If so, do you know of a newer model from Scorpion (for a Vespa GTS) which is Euro 4 compliant? Thanks, hope you can answer me sometime soon.

Do you need to grease mid pipe to get silencer on, as it seems a very tight fit

Not usually but you can do if it helps, or just use some WD-40.

I think the Scorpion for the 125 engine should fit your 150

How was that back fire happening? Would that happen on any scooter?

Honest M it’s mainly because the scooter was on the Dyno with the decibel killer removed. The exhaust is running super hot and igniting unburnt fuel as you close the throttle.. On the road you sometimes get an occasional ‘pop’ but not often with a Scorpion.

Honest M the PM Tuning GTS pipes pop quite a bit. The Scorpion sounds nicer though and with the DB killer out will still pop.

Gerald Cooper it’s a decibel killer, used by manufacturers to get an exhaust down to the permitted noise level. Some can be removed.
