Heard this for the first time today and was glued! Really hit me in ways nothing has since forever. I'm in my 40s and reminds me of a female-fronted Chameleons UK vs Gene Loves Jezebel. It's a style I've long abandoned due to intense emotional attachments. This song forced me to face the memories of who I was/am and that's a melancholy beauty all its own. Thank you!

that may be a little more of a coincidence and the chameleons are the best band i have heard in 43 years dont see the comparison but i know they listen to them re also check out the sound i do know music i can tell u many more that were great there are some great bands now check out black swan lane i think u guys and girls will like and this band is good i need to listen to more and before u kids point it out i will slam my self i dont use punctuation so deal with it and i never referred to any music as goth so dont get me started on labels given to bands these days

Yeah that's the problem. Music like this is just a rehash of bands like interpol who were a ripoff of Killing Joke and Joy Division. Not to sound pretentious but this music has no feeling in it.

Get rid of the backing vocals. Most of the song has a rockin out sound to it and the "ahhhh-ah-ahhhh" doesn't fit with it. Replace it with a heavy guitar to make it harder not softer.
