Scar is definitely one of the most influential figures in the competitive smash scene. His personality is fantastic, his passion for the game is so real and he really knows how to keep viewers entertained. I'm glad you mentioned the Scar and Toph Show and The Reads. Aside from watching tournaments, those shows have easily become my favorite thing to watch because it reminds me of melee at its core. That is hanging out with friends, having a good time playing melee. Also I actually had no clue Scar contributed to the inception of twitch bits! Great video man, keep it up!

I was talking to Scar in Virginia right after Genesis results were posted with him at 5th. I've never seen anything about 6th before this video.

This is super common knowledge. The TOs fucked up when they divided up the pot for payouts. They paid the top 5 players, and forgot that there is supposed to be 2 people tied in 5th. So Scar and M2K played the tiebreaker, Scar lost and got "6th place". Scar has told this story many times, on many streams.
