I remember watching this scenes at the time they aired & I was a mess then & I am a mess now. I loved Cruz & Eden & now A Martinez is on DAYS OF OUR LIVES as Eduardo Rivera, even though A Martinez has asked to be "let out" of his DAYS contract recently, he still renders me speechless when I see him speak; watch him walk; (I wish DAYS let him wear blue jeans--I remember how much I loved seeing Cruz in blue jeans & cowboy boots & he would console Eden by using that soothing voice as only Cruz/A Martinez could...only one other actor [Vincent Irizarry] comes close--and Vincent, as GUIDING LIGHT's Brandon "Lujack" Luvoneczek [Nov 1983--Dec. 2, 1985] does so because of his chronological order. When I saw Vincent, I had been watching GUIDING LIGHT for a year or so & I was gobsmacked by the sight of him. I just remember thinking, "Who is THAT?" when I saw him. At the time that Vincent started airing as Lujack on GL, Grant Aleksander's Phillip was the big heart-throb. Grant certainly fit the bill--tall, muscular (or as Vincent would say in magazine & TV interviews): "Grant/Phillip had wall-to-wall muscles in his forehead" (as if that made any sense--but whether the audience were drooling over Grant's Phillip, Robert Newman's Josh Lewis, Michael O'Leary's Rick Bauer or Vincent's doomed Lujack--there were certainly a lot of cherished Springfield candidates to choose from) and choose I did.

LOL Glad you are having a great time watching these. Eden miscarried twice, I think. Once when she was married to Kirk and once in this story line here.. So I guess, you are mixing up soaps :D Or my memory sucks which would not surprise me.

MellyLuvsAlex The Show never really said, only hinted at it... but the dates are all over the place. I would say he was about ten years older than her at the very least. In the early years she describes him as a man in his mid thirties... and during the Kirk stuff Cruz talks about growing up in the 60s and owning a motor bike. During the honeymoon episodes Eden says that 1962 was the year before she was born... so we can assume she was born in 1963. Lol But yeah, this show never got dates right, so who knows. 😉

Technically, the first miscarriage is what caused the accident. She was already losing the baby from the scuffle with Gina.
