I’ve been playing and my only gripe is the ragdolls/death animations. It feels really stale in combat tbh. There’s no writhing on the ground, not as interesting.

RDR1’s physics were the most fun imo. Never get sick of seeing people stumble around with half their face blown off before finally dropping after headshotting someone. And I’ve gotten tons of neck and upper chest shots like that. In my game they either count it as a headshot and drop instantly, or keep going like nothing happened (despite having a big red hole in their throat). Do you have to shoot them at a specific range or angle to get the bleed out animation? Does it only work with certain ammo types?

Why people complain about the ragdoll in this game so much? This is a great improvement of the euphoria physic engine. The setting is more realistic. Not to mention the gore, the bleeding and the glorious kill-cam mechanic!

Foxhole Norman I think they feel realistic yet satisfying. They don’t have the lacklustre feel of GTA V, but not quite as wacky as RDR1. However, the funny classic western deaths are in the game.

It's perfect. Not every kill is over the top like RDR1, but sometimes you'll see a crazy one like in this video, with the flappy arms dude. Every one has great weight to it, though, unlike GTAV. When you shoot a dude in the leg, he acts like he's been shot in the leg.
