I read Marie Antoinette bio book and it was never clear if she had sex with other men, and yes they did party but not like in the movie,Marie and Louis used to have morning church together with their children and read their bibles at night. I feel sad for all of them!!.

Yes they did. Sucession of bad choices. French wanted to keep them at the beginning of the revolution. They just wanted to share the power. But Louis and Marie Antoinette didn't. They plot against the French people and betrayed them.

@@booliev3275 not to mention the fact that the rapid inflation of their currency lead to the poor starving to death in the streets while Marie and Louis were spending thousands of dollars a night throwing parties. The situation was comparable to countries like Sudan and Argentina in modern days.

True. Louis XVI was blue-eyed for 1m92. And strong enough to use a kind of gun|mini cannon that the weigh and the recoil made inusable for most infantrymen. And a very good shooter / hunther. So not short-sighted. He was often said so by his contemporaries, especially the courtisan than didn't know him well. Others were saying he was shy, so probably he wasn't looking people in the eyes when he didn't know them well. Like in the movie.

This movie touch me so hard. Now I know why. Becouse Marie and Louis are so similar to me and my husband. He is so shy and nervous when he is speaking with other people he doesnt know. But he is also very honest, brave, just and he loves his family more than everything. And i know it, I am still trying to support him and I will love him to the end. And my husband is also a little physically similar to the king Louis :)

I feel like maria antoinette is a victim of accusation she really never did nothing but to spend her money but she didn't know what life was like outside the palace of versailles she was also accused of buying a necklace that costed millions of money pay meaning that money is the amount of expenses in the palace usually the necklace was actually bought by louis xv for madame du barry as a gift but after louis xv died the necklace was auctioned off and the one who sold it for marie antoinette was actually bohmer who thinks that the one who bought the necklace was marie antoinette herself but it wasn't marie antoinette it was a noble lady who impersonated marie antoinette but i say it was jeanne a noble lady who really adores the necklace even impersonates her writing her accent but the one thing that messed up is that she added of france but it's ok ok to not add of france because it's just a waste of ink, also marie heard 2 people talking each other in the garden the man even said that here is what you wished for my queen here is your precious gift my lady marie remembers that phrase your precious gift when they met rohan rohan added the phrase your precious to say that it was not marie antoinette's fault that she was arrested for accusation and treason so i hope i can share my comments for
