In an effort to ensure no child in South Milwaukee faces the winter without proper protection, the South Milwaukee Fire Department, in partnership with the School District of South Milwaukee and Warm Up Winter, distributed nearly 200 new winter coats to children in need within the community. This collaboration is made possible through the fundraising efforts of South Milwaukee Firefighters Local 1633 and generous grant support from the Bucyrus Foundation and the Forest County Potawatomi Foundation. Operation Warm, a nonprofit known for its mission to deliver high-quality coats to children across the country, provided the new
winter coats.
