Interesting hack. From a theological standpoint, it is fascinating that Mario is tricked into Hell. It is a reminder that personal gain never leads to any kind of satisfaction. Though I do wonder if one couldn't see all along the way that their sin was clearly the bad choice. I wonder if the ROM hack was meant to be a religious message, or merely a fun creation?
