i can't believe we let nintendo get away with releasing a super mario 64 reimagining where you can play as yoshi, literally just yoshi himself, while in a special area that has a special rendition of the super mario sunshine theme without it being one of the overwhelmingly popular mario games

the game has pretty bad controls. Either using the dpad or touchscreen for movement .

Yeah, while I agree the controls held it back a lot, I'm still surprised it doesn't get talked about more. It's crazy how different it is from sm64 despite being a remake. It was one of my first mario games so I feel like nostalgia prevents me from giving it a "fair" review, but nonetheless I find it underrated.

@@Lolkork if you play it on a 2ds or similar it plays super well actually. That way you get the control stick and it feels very similar to playing on n64, touchscreen becomes mostly unnecessary

i remember this map. i figured out that spinies always dropped coins when thrown as an egg so i tried grinding up to 100 only to find out special stages don't have 100 coin stars

it's probably not, but I didn't want to, say, get all the other stars then find out the idea isn't possible: I'd rather test the idea right away and then collect the other stars if it works

So, it's possible 0xB in 1.1 RIGless. But is it possible in 1.0 RIGless? I'm asking you because you didn't count the B press of sunshine isles in 1.0 RIGless in the remaining B presses video.

yeah, it's possible in all other variants. you can bounce on a lakitu using luigi and you get enough height to reach the star
