@@KolchaksGhost Hey you're absolutely right about the compilation of texts from people's thinkings and stuff regarding the bible though I'll be honest that I dont know much about the old testament which I do agree that I need to do more research on and I can kind of understand your point of view but I just wanted to inform you to prevent misunderstandings, that actually the Quran was never written by Prophet Muhammad, in fact he could not read or write. He was only the messenger who conveyed the words of God through an angel. It was others who wrote whatever he conveyed and the Quran also promotes a lot of self-thinking too, to keep asking questions and to keep learning more. I hope you're more aware now :)

What exactly does "Knowledge" mean to you? I am convinced that knowledge is justified, true and based on a belief (The JTB theory of knowledge). In what possible way can we show that any of the wild ass claims made in any of their holy books, is true and therefore say any of these men are knowledgeable on their religious claims? *15 Astonishing facts About Islam That you Really don't know !* *1)* *“Islam” means “surrender” or “submission”* . “Salam” (which means “peace”) is the root word of “Islam”. In a religious context the word “Islam” means “the surrendering of one’s will (without compulsion) to the true will of God in an effort to achieve peace”. *2)* *“Muslim” means “anyone or anything that surrenders itself to the true will of God”.* By this definition, everything in nature (trees, animals, planets, etc.) are “muslims” because they are in a state of surrender to God’s will. In other words, they are fulfilling the purpose for which God created them. *3)* *Islam is not a new religion or cult.* It is a universal way of life and civilization. *Again, Islam is not a new religion,* rather it is the same message preached by all earlier prophets such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (peace be upon them all). But God’s final message to mankind was revealed to the last prophet, Muhammad (peace be upon him), as a revival of lost teachings of previous prophets and as a reconfirmation of the eternal message. Studies show that between 1.5 and 1.8 billion people in the world identify their religion as Islam. Along with Judaism and Christianity it traces its roots through Prophet Abraham and back to the first humans Adam and Eve. *4)* *There are five pillars of practice in Islam.* These practices must be undertaken with the best of effort in order to be considered a true Muslim: A) Declaration of faith: A statement proclaiming the belief in One God and that Muhammad is a prophet of God. To become Muslim a person simply recites this statement publicly, and in Arabic. B) Formal prayer five times a day. C) Poor-due tax: 2.5% of one’s excess wealth given to the needy once a year. D) Fasting during the daylight hours in the month of Ramadan. E) Pilgrimage to Mecca at least once, if physically and financially able. *5)* *There are six articles of faith in Islam.* These are the basic beliefs that one must have in order to be considered a true Muslim. They are belief in: A) the One God. B) all of the true prophets of God. C) the original scriptures revealed to Moses, David, Jesus and Muhammad. D) the angels. E) the Day of Judgment and the Hereafter. F) destiny. *6)* *Muslims believe in the one Creator of the Universe, referring to Him as “Allah”* which is the Arabic word for “God”. Muslims worldwide, even English-speaking Muslims, frequently use the Arabic word “Allah” because Arabic is the language of the Qur’an. But Allah is no different than the God of Abraham, Moses and Jesus. The Creator is the Creator regardless of what people call Him. In the English language He is most commonly referred to as “God”. Yet Jesus spoke a different language, referring to God as “Eloi” in Mark 15:34 of the New Testament. Are “God” and “Eloi” different gods? Many Hispanics call God “Dios” and many French say “Dieu”. It would logically follow then that people who refer to God as “Allah” in the Arabic language are referring to the very same God. In fact, many Arab Jews and Arab Christians call God “Allah”. And the word “Allah” is written in Arabic script on the walls of many Arab churches and on the pages of Arabic Bibles. So while the understanding of God may differ between faith groups, the various names used to describe Him does not change the fact that the one Creator of the Universe is the God of all people. This is *Allah* Almighty, The Creator, the one and only true God. He is my God, our God: *"Allah - there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of [all] existence. Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they encompass not a thing of His knowledge except for what He wills. His Kursi (Throne) extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation tires Him not. And He is the Most High, the Most Great."* (Quran 2:255) *{Say, “He is Allah, the One. Allah, to Whom the creatures turn for their needs. He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none like Him.” }* (Quran, 112:1-4) Allah Almighty says in the Quran: *"Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."* [Quran 39:53] *7)* *The Islamic concept of God* is that He is loving, merciful and compassionate. Islam also teaches that He is all-knowing and the perfect judge of affairs, and will punish (or forgive) accordingly. However, Allah once said to Muhammad, “My mercy prevails over my wrath”. So Islam teaches a balance between fear and hope, protecting one from both complacency and despair. *8)* *Muslims believe that God has revealed 99 of His names, or attributes, in the Qur’an.* It is through these names that one can come to know the Creator. A few of these names are the All-Merciful, the All-Knower, the Protector, the Provider, the Near, the First, the Last, the Hidden and the Source of All Peace. *9)* *The Christian concept of “vicarious atonement” (the idea that Jesus died for the sins of humanity) is alien to the Islamic concept of personal responsibility.* Islam teaches that on the Day of Judgment every person will be resurrected and will be accountable to God for their every word and deed. I was a Christian trying to get closer to my religion but my grandma came from Nigeria and I had a Muslim friend. Seeing my grandma pray I was influenced and having a Muslim friend made me do research. In December 2022 I wrote a comment on tiktok saying ‘In Christian but Islam is making more sense to me and idk if I should convert’ i got 25k likes and thousand replies saying to do it and seeing the Muslim community so helpful I converted a couple months later at only 11 years old and I thank Allah for guiding me at this young age.

The Christian minister stated that the Bible contradicts itself when you read the old & new testament literally was surprising to hear from a minister. The Rabbi saying the Hebrew Bible is not prescriptive, and Jews choose not to emulate Moses, their prophet was also surprising. Then hearing Sheikh Omar defend both Moses from the Rabbi, and Noah from the Christian minister was profound. I was an atheist for decades, but after seeing the perseverance & righteousness of the Palestinians in the face of extreme hardship & suffering has bought me back to Islam. I am reading the Quran for the first time, and for the first time I have clarity of understanding, inner strength and most importantly peace in this day & age, when the state of the world seems to reflect the opposite. I use to think religion weakens humanity but without religion, life has only a superficial purpose, and then you die. I've found that people without religion, begin to worship wealth, power & fame, and never find peace even once they've attained it. I'm so grateful to have found my way back to a higher purpose while I am still breathing. May Allah guide us all, insha'allah. 🤲🇵🇸

Jesus is God take for example the words of Jesus in John 10:30, “I and the Father are one.” We need only to look at the Jews’ reaction to His statement to know He was claiming to be God. islam started with Adam , each and all prophet came with an update to fix the issues human kind created. some even came with dlc packs (old testament - bible, koran ) . Prop. agree the imam is eloquent but that is not the point here, if i were you i would look at the sources from where he is getting his info from, my point is put any christian/judaism speaker (however well spoken) there and you will realize they will always come second best, why? coz of the source. ergo ISLAM is the most powerful source of info. so do you just stop at wow the guy is good or can you yourself gain the same knowledge and be that good?
