Smack Talking Chump - Game 4

In a best of 7 series the Onondaga Red Hawks take on the Tuscarora Tomahawks for the Can Am Lacrosse Championship.
This is Game 4, Onondaga dealt Tuscarora their first two losses of the season in Game 1 and 2. In Game 4 Tuscarora traveled to Onondaga to take on the Red Hawks on their own turf. Tuscarora scores with 28 seconds left to secure the win over Onondaga 9-8 in Game 4.
Winner of the Can Am Lacrosse League will represent the Can Am League at Presidents Cup, where all the top Sr. B teams compete to be crowned victor!
The series after Game 4 is tied 2-2.

@@joshp7473 its the canam leagues, not mls/wla. bill spent a number of years with the new england blackwolves of the national lacrosse league. he is a member of the native national team. yeah, bill plays hard but he's kinda folk legend for a lot of us. guys has a positive spin on life 24/7.

@@BillOBrien96 nll is finally relenting on garbage moving pick calls. but lets be real. i used to play summer pick up field, nothing competitive, just a bunch of 40 year olds with mortgages and kids about to enter college. all of us played with the tupperware. one guy brought some wood sticks. getting smacked in the back by a piece of lumber is lights out compare to the mosquito bite from the modern stuff.

At what point do they call a penalty for slashing? Can you slash in the face? Can you slash the legs? Is slashing even considered a penalty in this sport? I just know in hockey you would have had yourself 20 penalties for slashing. This sport just may be more hardcore than hockey

@@BillOBrien96 from what i've been told, everybody wants any head contact penalized. what hurts the nll was that refs were calling a hard hit illegal even if it was all shoulder or between the shoulder & hip pads. what i don't like are players taking liberties on blind shots from behind near the boards. yes, separate your opponent from the ball or the play. know your space & protect yourself. but if your opponent has his head down near the boards, then come from him by the side. i don't care if he flies 20 feet with a bruised rib, he plays another day. but when i see player's heads bounce off the glass or crumble by the boards on an unsafe hit, bugs the crap out of me.
