In this latest WWE 2K20 video we're taking a look at all of the Superstars included on the roster that appeared in last years game and comparing their models and ratings to see what has changed and who has improved.
The side by side comparison also makes it really easy to pick out the changes, or in certain cases, the lack of changes that have been made.

Everyone knows the ratings are Kayfaybe and based on how much TV time someone gets. Becky, Kofi, Roman, they're the top stars so they're obviously getting the higher Overalls. Hawkins, Ryder, No Way Jose, they lose a bunch or barely appears so they're getting low ratings.

If you're checking through Universe mode like I think you are, then some are inaccurate. Cole was told he was an 84, but due to power rankings his overall likely spiked, so it's a 90. Yeah I know you didn't have too much time for footage hearing about everything that happened but still idk if it's right to really compare inflated overalls

The worst offender is that 2k19 actually was an improvement after a few lackluster ones... and now, we got female Career and Showcase, but Yuke's quit midway so some moves are cut, animations are glitching, the code is unfinished and lighting is off.

I’d say overall, most everyone looms better this year. There are a couple anomalies that I think are scanner and scale related. It looks like everything shrunk this year and it had some weird effects on the face. The smaller their face in real life, the more cross-eyed they tend to look. It’s like a few years ago when the face shaping got improved and we realized how weirdly square Nikki Bella’s jaw was

Looking at this I no longer want the game. You can see that some of the 2K20 Models where done by Yukes before they left cause they look equal to or better than last year. But the overall majority of the models in 2k20 I believe were done by the new dev and they look like severe downgrades, like a lot of them look like models for a PsVita game, a early PS3/Xbox 360 game. That coupled with the fact that 2K19 had glitches that I tolerated but I can imagine the amount of glitches this game is going to have. If I get this it will be when they are selling it for $20.

The hair and skin detail are so much better (sweat, skin tone, blemishes, veins etc.) BUT... The facial features, what happened? They all look like they're there because of the Wish foundation. Honestly looks like TNA IMPACT but less grainy and that looked great in 2008 but it's almost 2020 and we've took a step back as a whole when it comes to this game, although they seem to have depended on the creation suite this year, so i hope the game is fun and there's a huge influx of creations, especially for Caws and not just for arenas.

Here's something some people should consider: 2K19 was the peak graphically for WWE 2K games this Console Generation, they aren't going to get any better just how in the previous Console Generation they peaked with WWE '12.

I agree. But this is what I don’t understand. In 2k15 and 2k16 they had real pictures of the wrestlers. Then Starting from 2k17 and on they gave us these cartoonish looking models like we are still playing on the ps2. I don’t understand this. Why would they downgrade the models of the wrestlers from previous years. You would think by now they would be crystal clear authentic, realistic looking pictures. But no it has gotten worse
