Meet Woodward Throwbacks! Woodward Throwbacks creates and sells custom furniture and home goods out of reclaimed wood salvaged in Detroit. The business is owned and operated by Kyle Dubay and Bo Shepherd, and grown from their vision of creating unique and sustainable products while benefitting the community. Woodward Throwbacks creates goods from wood salvaged at illegal dumping sites throughout the city, and will soon sell reclaimed lumber along with their products. This week’s Small Biz Stories features their journey to winning the Motor City Match program.
