Sbm and bbm are the 2 most under rated engines imho.
@ronn147Ай бұрын
They really are especially the bbm. Put studs in for the crank and it’s going to hold big power because of how the crank sits in the block.

Yup especially since the last 15 years of boom in ls swaps

Here in Australia we got INDY SBM heads... 10 years ago roughly, would crack at head bolt holes, porous castings, dripping water into ports... i hope they have improved everything... sorry to be negative, but it seems we here in Australia get all the headache parts......

Not from any experience dealings from myself but I have read the same online for 10 plus years from those who dealt with Indy. Most comments were not to deal with Indy Heads but with reputable dealers. I believe Indy is under new ownership now. Things could be better. I would hope.

I'm 65 now and I grew up with mopar. I'm building a sbm dart after being completely out of the hobby for decades. I can certainly attest to the parts "dilemma" or the so-called "mopar tax". I'm glad I don't need 500+ hp. I couldn't afford it.

I dont think the Mod man intakes helped them out. They had great Single planes

What would a 650 hp. Version of that configuration cost
