I am very excited about the retreat and will probably really need it by then. These last few weeks have been exhausting. 30 years?! Wow, that's amazing & yeah, the setup is always different, lol.

You got me at COFFEE!! im 69, i have a 16 oz Yeti mug and it is filled with coffee about 4-5 (maybe more) times a day. As for my pets, they are not pets they are family, they are our kids. They eat before us, they sleep with us, and my little 2 yr old loves coffee too! And yes, she drinks it from my cup!! (all you ewww people, MYOB!). I sew during the day, and crochet in the evening. We celebrate this week with Good news from God, My husbands (he will be 77 the end of this month) cancer is in REMISSION! Love your makes and LOVE your tutorials. Obsessed with your Pug had and am searching for a pattern LOL Keep going young lady because you have what it takes!!!! 💜💜💜

5:29 April! I HAVE to pause here and tell you this! It was actually one of our kitties that realized I was sick! She is more of an outside girlie, but all of a sudden, she would follow me around, cry outside the bathroom door for me, etc; lo and behold… bananas! I was THISCLOSE to joining Stacy’s retreat! I AM going next year, dammit! I should finish up treatments, etc by January then it’s - hopefully - one more surgery and RECOVERY ONLY! Woo! Raja and I are on a similar regimen! Labs for Hemoglobin, Platelets, & WBC (ANC); the treatment of replacements. Interesting that it’s so similar. 🤞🏻 13:25 you give me written notes & I’ll help you with the pattern writing; don’t worry. I’ll help you❣️ Love your vlogs, girlfriend. I can’t wait to meet you SOON. We are like minutes apart; absurd. Lol. Xxxxx ☺️🫶🏻🧶🧡

It's a struggle to stay moving when you are so busy taking care of everyone else. As mom's we tend to put ourselves last because we are putting everyone and everything else first. I am ready to start making some changes. Hopefully soon!

My neck is feeling better! Thank you! I have struggled with this topic for 12 years since I started this business, lol. Sitting too dang much is not good, but I get so into my work I don't want to move. It's a problem. I know I will feel better. I will def be jumping on a healthy band wagon after my markets and the holidays are over.

I would love to hear you speak more on work life balance. I've been off/on with my crochet business for 12 years. I think you're really onto something about when you're working out, considering your whole "chain" basically. That's been really important for some of my health issues too. I very recently started vlogging my crochet adventures but I have a one year old and a 10 year old and I dont see how on earth a once a week schedule is going to work... so, I really admire your consistency in this! I honestly feel like a big part of my personal self care is NOT taking custom orders because they make me feel like I cant take the breaks that I need (internal pressure but still). Prayers for Raja cat!! Your dog is absolutely adorable too.

Have you ever tried a Shakti Mat for your neck? It's an accupressure mat but they do a neck pillow also. I absolutely love mine for when I cant make it to he chiropractor

I love that you thought of me. You are giving me so much encouragement, thank you! I'm having my own panic attack right now because my husband just got shipped off to Tampa and he was going to stay with my stepdad so my mom could go with me to the market this weekend. Well, now she's not going, and I have NO ONE to help me during at 12-hour day and a 9-hour day. Then I realized... If I have to leave my tent, I'll close it up. Now I'm fine. I'll get thru it I'm a woman hear me roar! We are stronger than we give ourselves credit.

Thanks for the video! I hope your cat stays well for awhile! Its so sad when pets are sick. Do you ever use etsy ads? Ive been debating because my etsy store isnt getting any attention and I took your advice for pictures and videos. Are you planning on selling the plushies on etsy next year? I would love to make plushies but every market I go to there are several amigurumi creators.

I have the premium Etsy membership which gives you $5 a month in free ads, lol. I've used that and that only. I refuse to pay for ads so I wouldn't be the best one to ask if it's beneficial, I guess. I know Etsy runs ads on my shop for google and I pay quite a bit if someone buys from clicking on those ads. I can't turn that off either. I may sell plushies next year, but honestly, I want to focus on designing and publishing patterns. Market prepping kills that vibe. I do agree with you that there are so many more amigurumi creators at markets than ever before, but that doesn't mean that you can't still sell at markets. I have always said selling at markets is quite the hustle. Right now, in today's economy it's tough with everything being so expensive. Hang in there and keep trying.

I just checked... It's not, but that is a great idea. The inside is lined with duck cloth and the bottom has a hard piece also wrapped in duck cloth. It makes it a solid non bendable surface for ease of carrying your pet. It's made really nice, but a cushion would be even better.
