@@captaindolphin5717 Great question, you can change the pin look on maps itself and personal pins. But the main Google map pin is dictated by google. these are often different depending on the type of business or service but not user controlled unfortunately.

@@ZanetDesign I went to follow through on your tips and as it happens I think I rank quite well on search. I have someone that writes 1-2 blogs on a monthly basis, plus and obviously, my videos help big time. Though it wouldn't hurt to try this too

@@Premier_lawns_official Thats good, i had similar which is why in the vidoe it took a while to find a search term i wasnt under, i think this goes down to the authority built and you are right KZbin and rgualr content are generally rewarded withh authority and trust by Google in its algorithm rank

It became a problem a while back, we never answer it, 99 times out of 100 its someone phoning up to ask a question about a video and not wanting to buy services from me I have toyed with the idea of removing it all together, from both GMB and my website.

Probably a 2nd phone, is the answer? Not sure Ive yet to decide, but I notice KZbin businesses that grow to a certain point become a lot harder to contact directly, due to the amount of fake enquires and spam, so i think there will be point where it will become essential

Cool content! Question about multi-profile companies. For example, a medical clinic - and there are many referrals, a family doctor, a dentist, a cardiologist, a massage therapist, and so on. The main category is a medical center, additional - by directions. What is the best way to promote directions in GMB? Within the same account?

Thanks Alexey - Yes, this is tricky, you could see how this is approached by other local companies. indirectly it could help, as Google uses local ranking in some serps. additionally extra local traffic can increase organic results and strengthens the brand. but serps tends to be more about your standard SEO and main website. when you said copied your website assuming thats the text, it's unlikely that will boost the rankings as Google penalises double content. Also rankings are generally a lot slower than 2 weeks for other areas like authority in links and domain authority are important ranking factors

Can you include links to your website in your Google updates? I tried it once and Google removed it. Is it not allowed? How else can you get people to go to your website?

There are places you can add links, not within the content of the post, but you can on the call to action link. Also in the description on the free website that is supplied with Google Business Profile, thats another great place for links to a main branded website, but the google website will need to be made live - i have a video on it if you don't know about it

The postcard is still not delivered although it's been requested for over 2 months. Should I delete my profile and make a new one and request another type of verification?
