Thank you for sharing your space. Love how you personalized everything. My husband was about to break down and recycle old cell phone boxes and I stopped him. They were REALLY high quality cardboard - almost a plastic feel. To me they were ink refill storage solutions. 😉 I couldn't help thinking it's a crime the $$ they spend on these boxes, only for a majority of them to be thrown away. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I use those boxes in drawers for small stuff like reinkers. They are wonderful, sturdy, and free!

That’s great. I do some similar things like using the boxes that my envelopes come in to store stuff on shelves and in drawers, since I have plenty and they are perfectly sized for A2 things. I’ll have to dig in to some of your other videos and see if you have some solutions for problem areas I have.

To save on repackaging stamps and dies I used to just split/cut the packaging down the right hand side - easy to get the item out and I stored everything on its side too so the split was across the top when the item was stored. I usually add some magnetic sheet to hold the dies. I’ve seen other people just cut the packaging across the top (just under the seam where the hanging strip is) for upright storage. The packaging holds up ok for quite a while.

I like the idea of using cardstock to create dividers in existing containers. I also like that your craft space is not HUGE. I think a lot of us think youtubers must have awesome spaces, so it's good to find you can just use your smaller space awesomely.

Yeah I enjoy keeping my supplies more minimal. I get overwhelmed with too many things so my small room works well for me.

hey, jess, you are so organized, my crafty space is a nightmare, just wanted to ask, do you find the scan and cut a benefit to you? I have early onset arthritis in my fingers and sciatica as well as fibro and I end up having to take many days of not using my hands when I've spent hours/days fussy cutting out printable stickers/ephemera, but its a large investment so would love an honest opinion of if you have a review video already on your channel would love to watch also what cardstock do you typically use for your stamping to colour, im really eager to learn to colour, i have the full ohuhu alcohol marker set but every image i try keeps bleeding x

Hi Zoe, I do find the Scan N Cut a great benefit to cutting out images with a solid black outline. It does less well with with a full color image. However mine is an older model and that may have improved with newer models. I don't have a review and since the one I have is no longer available it wouldn't be much help. However I remember Jennifer McGuire said she bought one and it planning on doing some content with one so that will be exciting to see. I color on Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 110lb. Some cardstocks bleed more especially as you add more color. Also some colors bleed more (reds tend to be the worst). Good cardstock will help but practice makes a big difference to.

@@JessCrafts I got the AveryElle pockets yesterday and was disappointed. I am sure they are great, but I don't see them lasting long at all because the sides are reinforced. I am going to return them and go with your bag idea (and it will save me from having to cut a million pieces of cardstock for the other pockets). Thanks again!!

1:22 How many sheets of paper are you getting into each of those job ticket holders and are there dividers in there (eta, on the shelf) to help them stand on their sides or are they holding each other up just by being full? Thanks for showing.

I can fit about 25 sheets of thick cardstock in a job ticket holder. There are three black metal magazine files from Target on the shelf that hold them.

Thanks for watching! Reusable boxes are usually even better than buying because they have straight sides. I never understand storage boxes and bins with tapered sides, such a waste of space.
