I love that you are taking your time to curate your space instead of just buying items to fill the space for a video. It's more realistic and how we should be styling our homes. The intention behind each piece is very inspiring, keep it up, love your content!

I love Arvin's videos. My taste and style are nothing at all like his, but his rooms are beautiful. Placement, balance, texture, the harmony and contrast, it's all so pleasing to the eye. There is a lot to look at, and I like his use of blank space. Talent as opposed to trendy. And of course, he's fun!

I love how your gallery wall came together so beautifully. The Navajo sand painting is such a special find-they are typically used in ceremonies but often destroyed afterwards. My husband and I used to live/work on the Navajo and Hopi reservations where we learned a great deal about their art and culture; truly magical experiences.

I love how you show the trial and error process. I get frustrated with myself when I can’t figure out the best way to lay out art on the wall and to see that you also had to play around with it until you found something that worked was really reassuring!

I didn't like some of the pieces individually, but together there was such a synergy. The earth tones offset by the crisp white walls was really balanced and the room felt warm and inviting. Great job!

This was a great makeover. I have an extremely similar light fixture above my dining room table. Mine has a walnut base near the cord, so black with walnut accent but extremely similar. I love pendants like this is a dinning room. It directs the light downward onto the table while keeping the rest of the room dim/moody. It makes for a more intimate dinning experience. Lovely.

I love how you speak of a living, ever-changing design. So many people feel the need to buy everything at one and have a "finished" home, often settling for something they don't love because they couldn't get the right thing at the time. You may have a finished space quicker, but you waste a lot of money and create a lot of waste.

I love your attention to detail, the layering of textures and patterns, the color play with the marrying of colors that are complementary and the layering of colors in the same color family, how you have our eyes follow interesting things on different levels as well as lighting of interest, and how it is an efficient use of space and not cluttered but not a lot of open and boring space either. It is eclectic blending vintage and modern, balanced, and just right. It doesn't feel like a cold magazine cover, but an actual home that is inviting.

Love seeing your thought process and how you worked through different obstacles, like the gallery wall. Everything came together beautifully! I am glad you switched it up with the dining chairs as it tied the vase and blanket but in textured form. So smart! Also they say it's great to design a dining room with a mirror as it reflects your bounty at the table. It's a good omen. And lastly love your black olive tree! How has it held up? Hoping it is easy to take care of. It's quickly replacing all the fiddle leaf fig trees out there and it's just so pretty!

I have always loved Benjamin Moore. I’m a person who cannot throw something out: very, very little for the garbage collection. I have stored a 3/4 gallon of Benjamin Moore for 15 years and touched up a wall with it recently. It still kept its original color, texture and matched the existing wall color perfectly. I am a person who has painted hundreds of walls and used many paint brands. Benjamin Moore is great paint.

I have used BM Simply White in my condo too! I used the Aura line. Expensive but it is the most eco friendly paint out there. We recently had the unit re piped and the drywall areas that had to be repainted matched perfectly, even after 6 years! The stuff goes on in one coat. Can't say enough good things about it. Plus they have it for bath rooms that is a matte finish. It has held up beautifully. I don't care for shiny walls.
