I struggle with broccoli one year great the next year not one true head formed just goes straight to flower. It’s been a busy week here moved a bunch of plants out of the house and into my greenhouse. I was shopping the other day and saw a deal on strawberries bought them and planted in the new asparagus bed. Just came in from filling some half 55 gallon drums with compost so next weekend I will be planting potatoes in them. Tip them over in the fall on a tarp pickup potatoes refill drums ( needed to move them). It will have to be next weekend because we’re in for another mixed bag storm Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday! O and I almost forgot started more plants in the house. 😊playing in the dirt rules 😂.

@@eliandkate There's a collab and there's a COLLAB! Literally don't sell your edits short! "Hey Kate" tell her that she isn't short luv will ya! lol Bless you! You do remind me of my late best friend. She was a great photographer and videographer. Context: I knew her for 30+ odd years as an early teen from working with my sister. Like my sisters fiance's cis males coworker at the time. I really miss her. Her AWOL younger brother is not a nice person and desecrated her fb page. She lived with us as a normal person. Some people are really poo heads for treating people this way. My friend just wanted a good relationship like yours. If people don't hate this comment, i'll talk about our stay overs to se my sister in Bexhill and the pranks on the owners who thought "that we were together" That being said, i couldn't stay in the same room with my other bf who is cis male and straight, in a hotel room. Obviously before i was married to a CIS bloke But like a discussion as we slept in the same bed like my BIL but no thought of chicky chicky. Like why are people being weird nowadays. It has always been, don't touch kids. Lost my mum when i was 10 because of that and end up in care. I loved the raggy dolls as a kid. probably will delete as shame does. I have guest rooms now, in the house after the refurb. I miss her so much!

Finally got the chance to sit down and watch this video, and I'm going to pop out today to see if I can get my hands on some of these seeds to grow along. Still waiting for the kids to give me ten consecutive minutes of peace so I can watch the latest video 😭 Counting the days until they go back to school!!!!!!!! But I was also wondering Eli, do you have any beginners guide videos to growing flowers in/for pots please? I have some varieties I want to grow but no idea where to start - do they all have to be sown individually into seed trays and then transplanted, or can I just scatter sow some into pots, etc, I have many questions!
@eliandkate8 ай бұрын
Hmmmmm I don’t have anything specifically about individual flowers because I tend to make videos about what I’m doing, so there will be a mix ins. Video But there are lots of flower sowing and potting on in the monthly sowing videos. Generally no you don’t need to sow things individually…. It’s just a bit easier to pot on that way but you can sow everything in flats if you want. kzbin.info/aero/PLjhUBZdMh-4kYTXPlv7URQZd_4-LND2rf&si=ExHchH6B8NCOFaX8

"There's no sprinkling with gay abandon here" Wait! Maybe I'm watching the wrong channel. 😁 I tend to chuck seeds in trays if I have plenty of them. Like you say, if you only have a few you need to be more precise. Just harvest the broccolini regularly and you'll get great results. If you leave the florets on the plant they tend to produce way less. Cheers!

Always a good reminder with plants like this, and beans and peas too… keep harvesting it encourages the plant to produce 😁
