@@moonriversou Of course! I watched most of Chris' videos - especially the longer ones where he gave tips for tackling each section - and I also referred to another channel called IELTS Liz. I solved all the practice tests that I'd been provided with during the registration process + solved some additional ones from the official IELTS and British Council websites. I'm a native speaker so I didn't have to put in a lot of effort but these few tips most definitely helped in improving my score and knowing the best way to tackle IELTS. Hope this helped!

Although, I hired a special mentor a month before the test, I was coming up with the fact that the mentor class doesn't work, so I focused on your trainings free of charge for almost one week. Hey Chris, hope you're all alright, I wanted to thank you, I got band 7.0 at my first attempt ( 7.0 S, 7.0 L, 6.5 R, 6.5, W), I didn't study that much, I didn't buy any courses or get any teacher's help, not even your VIP course, only the free 5 day writing challenge and few IELTS preparation materials of those you get when you already book the test, it's all about the advices you give of keeping it simple as you're "talking to a friend", this was really so helpful, I wish I listened when it came to the 100% rule of not writing something You're not sure of 😅 I got like maybe 12 spelling mistakes in task 2, but again thank you sm for your tips and the confidence you give to people Best of luck

Hi Chris, I achieved 7 total in my first IELTS test ever and it was Academic. 7.5 Listening 7 Reading 6 Writing 7 Speaking I had only one week to prepare (which I do not recommend for anyone to do). And I found your videos 2 days before the test day, but your notes and techniques helped me very much with reading and speaking. The reading tasks were harder than the hardest tasks I've practiced with, but thanks to you I've managed to handle it well even while I was panicking😭😂😅 I was so nervous and stressed because even though I consider myself very good at English, the exam is more about technique, time management skills, and extreme focus for a long time at once. I told myself that I would try but I would do my best and try to work as smartly as possible, and you helped me a lot♥️ I know that the score is not perfect but with all the stress and the short time, I'm happy with it. Hey chris. I got my result today and its overall band 7. I expected a bit more because my exam went really well. I got 6.5 in speaking which didnt match with the quality of exam I took. I anticipated at least 7.5 in speaking! Thats why I did EOR. However speaking score remained unchanged even after EOR! i just dont know what happend as i am extremely satisfied with my Speaking exam. Sir, in the introduction paragraph, Instead of "This essay agrees with that... " can we use "What am I really saying here? I'm agreeing that we are..." as an outline sentence? Why I'm saying this? Inside the IDP website they mention "Don't use memoried phrases such as; this essay will discuss.., There are pros and cons... etc."
