This looks great, but the items in the kitchen are not the same as what was in the old kitchen. It's not even a cull, it's all new stuff - it would have been better to see what actually could have been achieved.

As Miss E. pointed out 4 years ago, the new design left out the original kitchen items, namely the paper towel dispenser and the soap dispenser. Both items are a necessary part of a kitchen and need to be accessible from the wall and/or cabinet over the sink. Ikea definitely should have shown how to fit them in. Not doing that takes away from the strength of the redesign. Also, as Robert S. (2 years ago) and Sara Novak (3 years ago) pointed out, the double sink makes little sense when they were already lacking enough counter space. Again, this redesign doesn't seem to address the problems of the original design.
